A space of living that is uncomplicated, minimal in both its use and its appearance. It is a common misconception that complex edges and unique curves give structures life. Nature and light can unravel feelings and create atmospheres that awaken our senses. Through the simplest form, the most beautiful experience can emerge.

The Architect’s Home attempts to push the conventions of what embodies a personal dwelling. It is an effort to develop the ultimate minimal aesthetic on a large-scale in the raucous of one of the world’s largest and heavily populated cities, Karachi. Using cues from the Italian masters - from Flos, Molteni, B&B Italia, Flexform, and Paola Lenti – the home exudes luxury in its finest and most pure form, through simplicity.

It is a silent abode where light and nature fall through carefully designed spaces. The home is a space of contemplation with private corners juxtaposed with elegant and ever-transforming light throughout the day.

When the Architect is both the client and the designer, the manifestation is an authentic, untainted vision; it is exactly what is felt in that moment of design, which gives life to something rather whimsical. It allows for an untethered experimentation that other calls for creativity may not allow.

The Architect’s Home reveals the soul of the Architect, creating a space that is in constant evolution as the seasons change.
